Paper mache art with a twist. . . a Fremont Troll twist. While working today I ran across what has to be one of the nicest piece of sculpture I've seen in a while He's adorable, don't you think?! Last year a couple new 12 foot tall characters visited Seattle's Fremont district in search of a new home. An appropriate neighborhood choice due to Fremont's delight in all things statue and troll. Although warmly accepted by the neighbors, the paper mache giants were eventually sold to the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas by owners/artist Kim Graham. I'm in awe of the hands-on and quite dynamic construction processes going on at their local studio... what a way to spend a work day!!
