five mice in 30 days...

This summer I made the choice to let my two brother cats outside, unattended, without their ridiculous kitty leashes.

I know I have made the right choice but I'm really regretting it. My apartment is dirtier than usual and it's annoying not having a cat door...
but they're happy.
Soooo happy in fact that I'm receiving presents- often.

I shouldn't complain but mouse number four ended up under my fridge, wall heater and then eventually lodged into my oven. DOUBLE, TRIPLE gross.
One disinfected apartment later I wake up this morning to yet another "present" on my front mat. Thanks boys but really, don't you know how filthy and disgusting your presents are.
No idea what the solution to this "problem" is but until then I've cut off unlimited access to the outside kitties... this way, if you bring me another present- you'll have to leave it on the doorstep just like UPS.
