Valentines weekend, 2010
I didn't make official plans this year.
In fact, I deliberately wished everyone a, "happy February 14th!" instead of the annoying 'Hallmark holiday greeting that sends boyfriends and husbands into anxious fits.
The notion that yesterday was like any other day definitely paid off and I actually think I had the best Valentines to date.

Instead of crowds of people, expensive appetizers and the hassle of it all, we laid low, cracked a few beers and played games.
The following pictures visually describe the food orgasm we experienced once the carne asada was off the grill! All praise goes to my boyfriend's genius roommate and his girlfriend for preparing our Valentines Day lunch.

The evening culminated with beers and 9 ball at the Goldfish.
It should be mentioned that while playing 9 ball with the crew, I sank the nine ball on the break ... thus winning the game instantly. Woot.

This weekend I also spent some time cloud watching in Bonney Lake, walking around Point Defiance and lifting weights. I'm super sore today and could use a nap!
Big thanks to my boyfriend for being really amazing, smart and patient with me... I'm a handful at times and I'm thankful for him. the Sumner Valley... where tulips and daffodils grow
